Departure to the eastern part of Georgia - Kakheti.

Kakheti is the most fertile region in Georgia and the birthplace of the best wine in the entire post-Soviet space. Hectares of vineyards, many ancient temples and monasteries, sleepy towns with tiled roofs: sometimes it begins to seem that this is not Georgia at all, but Provence or Tuscany.

Through the Gomborsky pass we will go to the Ujarma fortress. Ujarma was once one of the significant fortified cities of the Kartli kingdom.

Next, we will see New Shuamta, enjoy these beauties and make many memorable photos.

And finally, arrival in Telavi - the administrative center of Kakheti, where the famous Mimino never reached.

Here we will visit - the ’’ Tsinandali ’’ museum - founded in the 19th century in the possessions of the famous Georgian poet, Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. You will be amazed by the beauty of the park at the estate, and by the taste - the wines, which we will taste in the wine cellar (5 varieties).

Then we go to Sighnaghi, a city of love in the style of South Italian classicism, which is famous for its eponymous fortress, which is included in the list of the most famous and largest fortresses of Georgia (XVIII century).

Here, in the wine cellar, you will visit a tasting of various varieties of wine and Georgian vodka - chacha. Here you can order (in advance) a delicious Kakheti lunch ($ 15 per person), or lunch with a master class of Georgian national cuisine ($ 25 per person).

There are amazing places where your wishes come true. Such a place is the Basilica of St. Nino in the Bodbe nunnery. If desired, you can go down to the miraculous source of St. Nino (walking 30 minutes).

Cathedral "Sameba", the largest Orthodox church in the world -  Spectacular, beautiful, amazing. You will immediately feel the greatness of the design of architects.

Another symbol of the city is Metekhi Cathedral (XIII century) - the ancient citadel and the residence of Georgian kings. According to legend, Queen Tamara herself prayed here.

Anchiskhati - the oldest surviving temple in Tbilisi (VI century). Legend has it that the Anchian icon here is miraculous and appeared on the canvas after Christ applied this canvas to his face.

We will take the cable car which will take us to Narikala fortress ("The Inaccessible Fortress") - the soul of Tbilisi, it offers a breathtaking panorama of the city. This citadel is almost as old as the city itself, it is attributed to the IV century. n e.

And finally, we’ll visit Mount Mtatsminda and the Pantheon, holy for every Georgian, the burial place of the outstanding sons of Georgia (Funicular fee - 2.5 $ per person).
