Your adventure to a wonderful castle Amberd, a shining example of medieval Armenian architecture and one of the few surviving feudal castles in Armenia, will begin right from one of these fabulous places. The program lasts for 8 to 9 hours, and the best season for it is from May to October.

Incomparable beauty of Armenian mountains and moderate physical exercises, cold wind and icy spring water restore nerves and inner balance.

Mostly, small villages in Armenia have a population of 1,000 people. Most of the houses in the villages date back to the 18^th century and earlier. Villages are located in a lovely bowl of hills surrounded by peach orchards, vineyards and apricots. Villagers make wine. Here are growing some of the best peaches and cherries. Here people make cheese and butter. In the evenings, the village women gather to bake the traditional lavash and prepare matsun (plain yogurt) themselves, this is an Armenian national fermented milk product with a very slight sour taste, which is made from cow's, sheep's or goat's milk.

You will feel so comfortable and cozy while being in an Armenian family, that you will even forget that you are in a foreign country, among people, about the existence of which you could not even suspect a few days ago.
