How else should one get acquainted with these traditions, if not in the Armenian village family? A homemade Armenian cuisine – just an abundance of flavors!

Highlights
Small villages in Armenia have a population of 1,000 people. Most of the houses in the villages date back to the 18th century and earlier. Villages are located in a lovely bowl of hills surrounded by peach orchards, vineyards and apricots. Villagers make wine. Here are growing some of the best peaches and cherries. Here people make cheese and butter. In the evenings, the village women gather to bake the traditional lavash and prepare matsun (plain yogurt) themselves, this is an Armenian national fermented milk product with a very slight sour taste, which is made from cow's, sheep's or goat's milk.
You will feel so comfortable and cozy while being in an Armenian family, that you will even forget that you are in a foreign country, among people, about the existence of which you could not even suspect a few days ago.
The program lasts for 8 to 10 hours. The tour is available all year round.
